Anthony “Tony” Nicholas Ottati, at 75 years of age, passed away on December 12, 2016 after a hard fought battle with lymphatic cancer.
Born March 1941 in Schenectady, New York. He is survived by his wife, Eileen Ottati; his son, Tate Ottati and two grandchildren Rosemary Jane and Tate Wolfgang.
Tony worked for 32 years as a Broward County school teacher and after retirement in 1998 he continued to work every single day at the business he helped his son build, TATE’S Comics, established 1993. For over 20 years you could find Tony at the front register, chatting and ringing up customers for their purchases.
A gathering in remembrance of his life, will be held at TATE’S Gaming Satellite (4580 N. University Drive • Lauderhill, FL 33351) on Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 6-8pm. All who knew him are welcome to attend.
