JLA/Avengers Crossover 2022 Hero Initiative Raffle
For the first time in decades, the acclaimed JLA/Avengers Crossover has been reprinted by Hero Initiative, the charity dedicated to helping comic book creators in medical or financial need. Hero Initiative is honoring one of George Pérez seminal bodies of work and his long-time support of Hero Initiative with this special one-time-only reprint.
Only 7,000 copies are being printed worldwide and it is highly sought after even before the release. Sales of the book benefit Hero Initiative’s mission.
JLA/Avengers is a 288-page full color, softbound volume featuring the original 2003 four-issue co-publishing venture between DC and Marvel, written by Kurt Busiek with art by George Pérez.
This collection also features 64 pages of companion content and will reprint introductions by original Avengers writer/editor Stan Lee and Justice League of America editor Julius Schwartz. A bonus in the Hero Initiative edition is a new afterword by Kurt Busiek.

Raffle Tickets $1 each
Raffle winners will be chosen on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 4pm – using the classic “shake up & pull the winning tickets out of the raffle box” method. There will a total of three winners chosen. Raffle tickets can only be purchased in-person at TATE’S Comics Lauderhill or Boynton Beach locations. All tickets purchased at both locations will be combined for the final drawing. Ticket purchase cutoff for Boynton is 4/1 7pm; ticket purchase cutoff for Lauderhill is 4/2 3pm. Raffle drawing will be filmed and posted to our social media. Winners will be contacted directly.
A portion of the proceeds from the raffle will be donated to benefit the Hero Initiative charity.
