On exhibit through July 13, 2025 at Bear and Bird South Florida – Tate’s upstairs gallery space!
A little bit about Being Green, from the artist: My latest body of work draws inspiration from the beloved creations of Jim Henson, including the iconic Muppets, The Dark Crystal, and other fantastical creatures. Using the bold, striking aesthetic of American Traditional tattoo art, my illustrations celebrate Henson’s timeless messages of kindness, imagination, and joy.
The concept for this show is rooted in nostalgia, calling back to a simpler time when life felt more playful, easy, and full of wonder. I want the exhibit to remind viewers of the values Henson’s creations embodied—positivity, love, and the magic of kindness. With Jim Henson’s final project MuppetVision 3D closing June 7, I wanted to pay tribute to his work and all the memories I have of this piece of history.
