Any geek worth their collection of Absolute Sandman volumes is more than willing to make the pilgrimage to the legendary Tate’s Comics. Celebrating its 15th year of glorious existence, Tate’s still has all of the comics, cult horror films, Star Wars figures, obscure Japanese anime, pricey statues and niche magazines that it’s known for. In recent years, it added the intensely classy and chic Bear and Bird Boutique and Gallery on the main store’s second floor loft and Tate’s Gaming Satellite two doors down for tabletop games. For the store that’s been described by its fans as having everything, Tate’s is still finding ways to broaden its horizons and stature.
