This large, beautifully printed, hardcover book represents the most expansive documentation of the 2000 Dragons project to date. The original painting, in acrylic and colored pencil, measures 51 inches by 500 feet, and was created to mark the Millennium, a Dragon year in the Asian zodiac. Hardy painted the piece in five-foot sections continuously until completed; only five feet of the working surface was visible at a time, and it was painted spontaneously, with no preparatory drawing. #tatescomics
